It’s funny how we care so much about the products that we use on our babies fresh new skin, but neglect to look at what we are using on our own.
With the recent heat wave we had in Vancouver, I’ve been on the search for a sunscreen to use on my daughter and in doing so I came across an app called Think Dirty.
Now don’t you start thinking dirty. It’s not like that at all. The way it works is you scan the cosmetic products you have in your bathroom and BAM, it tells you how toxic they are on your health. Toxic? You can buy toxic make up? Apparently so.
My fav mascara, rated 10! My fav foundation, rated 9. Oh man…cue the anxiety. I’ve been in a long term relationship with these two babes and I’m really not prepared to break their hearts.
Just to clarify, 10 is bad…the worst actually. Needless to say, I’m now on the hunt for replacements. Of the natural variety. Help this mama out and shoot me some recommendations!
